Our 16mm and 35mm packs include 3 KODAK VISION3 cans, within the price per contracted day. Each extra can you order has a cost of 280€ for the 16mm and 345€ for the 35mm. We also have different special and vintage options for 35mm cans, you can check them in our store.
With whom can I do the developing process?

How does the development process work?
Once the rental is finished, the production must send us the exposed film together with the rest of the rented equipment to prepare it for shipment to the laboratory. It is always necessary to fill out this document with basic information about the project. The entire development process, from receipt of the cans in our warehouse to final delivery, can take a maximum of two weeks.
What equipment is used to digitalize the negatives?
Always looking for the highest quality, our partners work the digital telecine with a ProRes 2K base with a Scanity HDR and the 4K scans in DPX with ARRISCAN. The option of a first telecine in DPX 2K is possible for an extra cost.
How and when is the material sent to the lab?
Our main objective is to keep the negative as short as possible between shipments to safeguard its integrity. Therefore, we ship from Monday to Wednesday of each week. For example, if you deliver the material to us on Thursday or Friday, the negative will not be shipped until the following Monday, to avoid it staying in customs on a non-working weekend.
How will I receive my files?
When the development is ready, we will send you a link to your e-mails where you will be able to download the material. The file you will receive is a .MOV AppleProres 422, flat scan. The file will remain available for download on the servers for a maximum of 72 hours.
Where is my developed negative?
Film reels are stored in the lab and shipped to our warehouse every 4-6 months. If you need the negative as soon as possible, we can arrange a return shipment for an extra charge.
Are you responsible for the negative in any way?
No, the client must have a shooting insurance that covers any damage or loss of the negative, in the same way that it is mandatory to have an insurance that covers the camera equipment during the shooting.
What guarantees do I have when shooting in analog?
Shooting on negative carries a series of responsibilities and duties on the part of the client and his team, since there are many factors that can alter the final result. At Lenso, our analog equipment is constantly being checked by experts to keep it at the highest level. If you have any doubts or questions about optics or operation of the equipment, you can always consult us during the check-up.
It is mandatory to perform camera, fixation and development tests before renting analog equipment. If these tests are not done, Lenso will not be responsible if there is any problem with the equipment. We have negative tails available for these tests ready to be developed.
Is it possible to see what is being recorded while shooting?
Yes, our cameras have video assistance systems that allow the viewing and transmission of the video reference during the shooting.
Do you load the film in the chassis?
No, at Lenso we will not manipulate your negatives in any way. The loading process must always be done by someone responsible for the camera crew of the production (loader, assistant, etc).
